May, June, July Events from Smith College Club of New York City

Emmy- and Golden Globe–winning actress Jane Lynch will be the speaker at Smith College’s 134th commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 20, at 10 a.m. in the campus Quadrangle.

In addition to Lynch, four additional accomplished women will receive honorary degrees. They are: Edwidge Danticat, Haitian novelist whose narratives speak about a nation’s plight; Muriel Siebert, pioneering financier; Susan Solomon, atmospheric scientist who discovered the ozone hole; and Brinda Somaya '73, Smith alumna and premiere architect who shapes the landscape of her nation of India.

Rub elbows right here in New York with a lot of other high-powered Smith women at an upccoming Club event!
