Booking Dance Festival at Jazz at Lincoln Center

2020 is a landmark year for the Booking Dance Festival NYC, presented by Jodi Kaplan & Associates (JK&A), with a record number of artists showcasing. During this 5 hour festival, 30 dance companies will perform 40 pieces of choreography featuring 250 dancers and two world premieres. Styles presented include: ballet, hip-hop, acrobatics, tap and body percussion, modern, contemporary, jazz, dance-theatre, fusion, and cabaret. A new emphasis for JK&A’s eighth annual Booking Dance Festival is its educational outreach initiative. Scholarship students from both Brooklyn Ballet and 92Y Harkness Dance Center will be in attendance for the inaugural year of this program. This 5-hour dance extravaganza where the audience is free to come and go during the evening, will take place at the breathtaking Jazz at Lincoln Center; a magnificent venue featuring 4,500 square feet of glass overlooking Central Park, the perfect backdrop for a magical evening of dance. Jodi Kaplan ’89, producer of the festival, will welcome Smith Alumni, family and friends at 5:00 pm at the VIP check-in table on the 6th Floor of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Appel Room. Tickets must be picked up from the box office on the ground floor before joining the Welcome Meet & Greet.
