Social Media 101

Colleen DelVecchio, Career Expert and Director of Alumnae Engagement for Smith College, will answer your questions, host a Q&A and review your résumé or LinkedIn profile.

Are You Social Media Savvy?

Does social media feel like a foreign world to you, complete with its own language of ‘tweets,’ ‘likes,’ ‘followers,’ ‘pins’ and more? Do you have a Facebook account…  but are afraid to use it for fear of posting something by accident? Or perhaps you’re reasonably comfortable on some social media sites, but would like to learn more about LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram.

Regardless of where you fall on the social media spectrum, join us to get a better understanding of how these tools can help you stay connected to friends and family, find a job, grow your network, organize your life or grow your business.

Join Colleen DelVecchio, career expert and Director of Alumnae Engagement for Smith College for a presentation on Social Media 101. Come bring your questions.

After the presentation, Colleen will host a Q&A on finding a job in NYC.  Bring a copy of your résumé or LinkedIn profile for a free critique.

Refreshments will be served.
