June carries forward similar themes - tradition and celebration but solemnity as well. Some of us begin with a weekend of  virtual reunion festivities 2021on the heels of Commencement; there are activities for all of us to share. Then we enjoy a book launch celebration for one of our regional Smith alumnae that you won't want to miss. This is followed by a virtual 'Visiting' Faculty physics lecture on Black Holes by Professor Gary Felder and a historical and literary commemoration of Juneteenth, that will trace the roots of the contemporary epidemic of Black Incarceration in America to the formerly legal institution of Black Enslavement.  Annual Club reorganization continues, and we welcome you to become more involved. Those with interest to participate and contribute are invited to contact Club President Samyah Ahmed through our administrative website
