The Smith College Club of New York City (SCCNYC)  was incorporated on February 8, 1921.  We have a long and happy tradition of fostering strong ties between area alumnae and the College, as well as raising money for scholarships.  Club activities center around fundraising efforts, a broad array of events, and student recruiting as follows: 

-Fundraising activities which include pecan sales (a time-honored tradition);

-Events are educational in nature and include museum programs, visiting professor lectures, current events, featured speakers, career development, targeted activities for young alums, life planning.  In addition, events are often done jointly with other college and university clubs, including Columbia, Princeton, Brown, Seven Sisters; 

-SCCNYC's Admissions Committee works directly with the College Admissions  Department to interview and recruit new students.
