History

Incorporated on February 8, 1921, the Smith College Club of New York City (SCCNYC) is the largest and oldest alumae club associated with Smith College. The Club has a long and happy tradition of fostering ties between area alumnae and the College. Each year, the Club hosts educational, recreational, and networking events in and around the five boroughs aimed at connecting and strengthening the Smith community.

Activites are overseen by an annually elected Board of Directors, as well as members of the Club committees. Annual events include the Membership Party, the Holiday Party, Admissions and Recruiting events, Meet-ups and Happy Hours, the Scholarship Benefit, the Smith Faculty Lecture, and the Spring Tea. Club members often receive discounted or free admittance to these activities.
