For the third year in a row, the Mount Holyoke Alumni Club will gather during the holiday season to watch the renowned modern, African American dance troupe, Alvin Ailey. This year's performance will feature Hymn, a riveting show choreographed by Judith Jameson that presents full company dances and moving solos. 

The performance also features a narration from multi-talented actor/playwright Anna Deavere Smith.

Following the performance there will be a backstage tour by a Mount Holyoke alumna.

DATE: Wednesday, December 16, 2009

TIME: Meet at 7:30 pm (Performance starts at 8:00 pm)

LOCATION: New York City Center, West 55th Street (between 6th & 7th Avenues)

COST: $25 (side orchestra seats) or $72 (front mid-mezzanine seats)
