Three panelists and moderator Mary Podolak will discuss "How to maintain your marketability--what skills and experience should be sought to stay current in a rapidly changing job market". Mary Burton, Smith'72, Harvard Business School MBA'76 -- Founder of Burton Strategies (1978). Mary has devoted over 30 years to helping individuals in career transitions. In 1980, Mary was co-founder of the Harvard Business School's Club of Greater New York's Career Management Seminar. Attended by over 1100 HBS graduates over 18 years, this program provided transition support for HBS and Harvard Executive Program graduates. Mary also co-authored In Transition: From the HBS of New York's Career Management Seminar (New York, Harper Collins, 1991_
Maggie Craddock, Smith'85, London School of Economics MSC, NYU MSW, Registered Family Therapist, Wharton Advanced Management Program -- Founder of workplacerelationships.com and author of The Authentic Career. Before building her executive coaching business, Maggie worked on both the buy and sell sides of financial markets, managing a portfolio of over $4 billion and receiving two Lipper awards for top mutual fund performance. Coupled with her psychology background, Maggie developed a unique niche counseling clients at all levels. She has been featured on CNBC and Fox News, as well as in top business publications.
Roslyn Courtney, Penn State (Magna cum Laude), Wharton -- Founder of Roslyn Courtney Consulting . Roz Courtney’s breakthrough model of leadership - derived from intensive interviews with 80 top executives, mostly women - was first unveiled in 2004 at the Wharton School’s Inaugural Women’s Leadership Forum. In 2005, she became the only woman to receive Wharton’s Alumni Award for Distinguished Service, joining the ranks of notable CEOs. Roz works with entrepreneurs and executives on their leadership and business initiatives. Roz also specializes in career coaching for women.
Mary Podolak, Smith'78 -- an experienced human resources generalist. Her practical approaches have produced productivity gains and limited compliance risks and expenses in a variety of business situations. She has been successful with a wide variety of challenges – specialized training and employee development, employee relations, discrimination issues, employment programs, management coaching, human resource compliance, and meeting facilitation.
